Working with the WLCT

Interning with the WLCT has been so educational and exciting. I was timid at first, but after the fun events and workdays I attended, it was all worth it. I have met so many amazing, dedicated people, such as David McCarthy, the Executive Director, Eli Grass, the Field Ranger, Sara Schneidman, the returning summer intern, along with all of the board members and volunteers.

Seeing how much of a difference we can make in our community during our workdays is exciting and rewarding. Every time I attend an event with the Land Trust, I learn something new that I can use later in college and my everyday life.

I want to thank the Land Trust board members and the volunteers for welcoming me into this important community and allowing me to apply my knowledge towards projects and during workdays. I can’t wait to see what the future holds and what more we can do to help our town and planet!
