Our Spring Ephemeral Nature Hike:

This hike is all about exploring the waking world of Spring! We will listen for and identify bird songs and frog calls, pass by vernal pools where frogs and salamanders have laid their eggs, and explore the preserve’s gorgeous freshwater stream in search of spring ephemerals - the earliest flowers to bloom after the season changes! This walk will be a fantastic opportunity to explore our gorgeous natural surroundings and learn all about the waking world of spring!

So, grab your water bottle, supportive shoes, tick and bug repellant, and your camera and binoculars, and join us for a morning of adventure and learning. And don't forget - leave your furry friends at home, so we don't scare away any potential wildlife!
